This, the kinematics is concerned with the position of an object at different times and hence with itsvelocity and acceleration

National Mathematics Day - தேசிய கணித நாள் - December 22

National Mathematics Day

India celebrates National mathematics day on December 22 every year

It was introduced by prime minister Manmohan Singh on 26th February 2012 at Madras University , to mark the 125th birth anniversary of the Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

National Mathematics Year

On this occasion prime minister Manmohan Singh also announced that 2012 would be celebrated as National Mathematics Day.

Some Information about "Srinivasa Ramanujan"

Born : 22 December 1887, Erode , Madras Presidency , British India.

Died : 26 April 1920 (32 aged) , Kumbakonam , Madras Presidency British India.

Citizenship : British India

Education :  

1) Government Arts College (NO DEGREE)

2) Pachaiyappa's College (NO DEGREE)

3) Trinity College , Cambridge. ( Bachelor of Arts by Research , 1916)

Awards : Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS)

Celebration in National Mathematics Day

In India national mathematics day is celebrated on 22 December every year with lot of educational events like mind games puzzles riddles math projects seminars expo and excetra can be conducted in schools and universities throughout the country

The day significance was enhanced by the opening of the Ramanujan math park in kuppam in Chittoor Andhra Pradesh
